Hang Tien Cave Exploration

Requirements
Basic trekking skills and experience in walking through caves or mountains.
Note: Prepare boots or shoes to change as it can get wet during pass through river crossings.

Experience from walking through tropical forest and cross over rivers and mountain will give you an unforgettable memory in your life. On this exciting adventure, you will have opportunity to explore legendary jungle or world- class mountains and caves of the Tu Lan Cave System. You will probably discover Rao Nan River- a famous scene from well-known film distributed by Holleywood called Skull Island.
You will discover bizarre caves by yourself as well including Hang Tien Cave- a cave is famous for its huge size and impressive terrain. And of course you can take part in the caving activity of the adventure- the flying fox
Our professionally experienced team will support you for exploring this bizarre area. With careful support from our team and the quality of safety equipment, you will feel safe during discovering the wilderness and magnificent beauty of its caves, mountains and exciting formations throughout the adventure.
You will have picturesque wake-up call every day and wonderful night scene throughout the night thank for two impressive campsites.

DAY 1: Phong Nha- Tan hoa- Secret Cave- Hung Ton Cave- La Ken Campsite
Start your ultimate adventure with a pickup from your hotel in Phong Nha between 7:30 am and 8:00 am and a short transfer about 70 kilometers to Tan Hoa Office. Here you will have the very important safety briefing.
You will prepare your essential gear, learn all about safety; sign our  Release Form and get ready for your adventure. After that, you will walk through fields of peanut and corn about 2.5 km to reach to the Rao Nan River. This River is famous as it is a part of scenes of film distributed by Hollywood called Skull Island. After crossing the river, our adventure continues with climbing a small hill to get to the Secret Cave at about 10:30 am. With this cave, it will be an unforgettable memory when you’re inside the cave. Outstanding formations, wilderness of the cave will not make you disappointed. You will have a short time about one hour to record these images or moments. And then, spending another hour on trekking to reach the Hung ton Cave. By 12:30, lunch will be prepared for you and you will have time to take break and enjoy lunch together. You will have new experience during having lunch near the river.
We will stay in this cave for two hours and it’s the time for you to take photos with each other and relax in this atmosphere. It will be a marvelous experience in your life. After that, we will climb through Lom Com Mountain to get access to La Ken campsite that is located near Rao Nam River by 4:30 pm. This is the time for you to refresh yourself by swimming in this river before having lunch set up by our team. Sleep outside surrounded by sounds of swifts and breathe the natural air will give you a marvelous night with a dream about tomorrow’s wonderful journey.
                                                       
DAY 2:
La Ken Valley- Hung Nhai- Mooc Lagoon- Tien Campsite
 The second day of the adventure will start with breakfast prepared by our porter team. Breakfast with cuppa and enjoy it amongst jungle will be a special experience. After the breakfast, get ready and carry on the adventure to explore more wonders in this area. Our journey will lead to the beautiful waterfall by walking and climbing through over hills to reach. Lunch will be set for you here. After lunch, you can relax and enjoy the beauty of this waterfall. Then, return to the journey at 12;00pm, we continues to walk and climb through Hung Nhai Valley. Stand here, take a deep breath and enjoy every moments in its. It will be marvelous experience you have ever had. After that, you will get access to a tranquil magnificent blue lagoon that is located in the center of the jungle surrounded by stones. You seldom see this scenery in other area in the world and that is the reason why you want to stay in its to enjoy its wild beauty forever.
Spend your time relaxing and refreshing by swimming or taking some photos with each other in this impressive scenery. The sun goes down and it’s the time to set up camp, change clothes before having dinner. The dinner with BBQ will be prepared by the porter team. The fresh air of forest, the sounds of swifts or the silence of jungle will make you easily sleep and of course lead you to marvelous dreams about tomorrow’s adventure.
                                  

                                 
DAY 3: Tien Campsite- Hang Tien 1- Hang Tien 2- Dong Dau Mountain- Tan Hoa- Phong Nha
The third day of the journey will start at 8:00 am with breakfast prepared near the marvelous green natural lagoon.
Get ready to climb for an hour or more through boulders fields before reaching Hang Tien 1. The cave entrance lasts about 50m. the special thing is the beauty of a large chamber with its ceiling decorated beautifully.
Famous for marvelous formations from limestone pools and lush ferns, this cave is actually a masterpiece of the nature. Explore deeper into Hang Tien cave and join our new caving activity- the 18-meter-long flying fox. Everyone taking part in this activity will be provided professional safety equipment fully such as sit cables, tandem pulleys and locking karabiners. You will feel like you’re floating in the air when you pull yourself across the steel cables. Feel safety with our professionally experienced guides who will support you every time. This activity is one the most exciting part of the adventure, so do not miss it.
Our adventure continues with discovering deeper into Hang Tien 1. You can see the cave exit thank for a ladder. By 11:00 am , the picnic lunch is prepared to service you and after that we will trek into Hang Tien 2 for 30 minutes.
Hang Tien cave 2 is known as the underground world in this area. Its entrance appears in front of you with a slippery descent. You will be impressive with the variety of formations within 300m inside. This is why Hang Tien 2 is also known as the largest cave in the Tu La nave System. Record these moments and say goodbye to Hang Tien cave - the wonders of nature before turning back to the camp to pack up the necessities. Enjoy these last moments together and complete our marvelous adventure by trekking through Dong Dau Mountain to the path, where cold drinks will be served for you.

And then, later the company will transfer you back to the office at 5:00pm. You can have time to take a shower and change clothes to refresh yourself. Your adventure ends by saying farewell to the team in Phong Nha and back to civilization with all marverlous moments and unforgettable experience after Hang Tien Cave Exploration 3- day -2 night jouney.

                                                       
WE WILL PROVIDE
·        Camping equipment: tent, Sleeping bag, camp light, mattresses, pillow.
·        Caving and safety tools: caving helmet, caving headlight and gloves, ropes…
·        Light PVC backpack: in case of getting west and you do not use your own bag.
·        Dry bag used for clothes and personal belongings except for electronics
·        Basic canvas trekking shoes used for walking: you can use your own pair or you can use ours, boots with size from 36-46 is available.
·        Meals: picnic lunches, breakfast for day 2 and 3, dinner for day 1 and 2 are prepared.
·        Experienced tour guide with professional English- speaking and safety skills.
·        All camping gear and meals will be serviced by porter team.
·        Water purifier (used only by guide and porters) and water bottle 
·        Basic camping tools with friendly natural compost toilet using western toilet seat.
·        First Aid Kid and Medical Rescue Equipment that are only  applied by guides and the porter team.
·        Secure Storage Facility at Phong Nha Headquarters to store all belongings you will not carry along on way.
 
YOU WILL NEED
·        Preparing two long pants that is easy to dry and two long sleeved shirt to wear on your way
·        Preparing one or two pair of shorts and t- shirt to wear at campsite. You should bring warmer clothes in winter.
·        One pair of non- waterproof trekking boots using for tough formations is indispensable.
·        1 pair of flip flop (sandals) using while you’re in the campsite
·        1 medium- size towel
·        2-3 pairs of calf length densely woven socks. Ankle socks are not recommended.
